  38. ElseWare is a small corporation that supplies tools and utilites to folks who are using desktop publishing to make their living.  In addition to DataShaper version 1.2 for the Macintosh, the ElseWare CheckList application and the ElseWare BarCode Kit are also available from ElseWare.

  40. CheckList is a utility for inspecting your PageMaker documents prior to sending them to a service bureau or new work environment.  This utility allows you to check for a list of fonts used in the publication, style sheets, linked files list and other information.

A shareware version of CheckList is available for $45.00 through your local user group or on CompuServe in the Aldus Forum.  A full retail version that allows for printing out the font, style, and link information as well as compressing publications, and providing internal publication annotation is available from ElseWare for $179.95.

  44. The ElseWare BarCode Kit is the complete bar code utility kit for the Macintosh.  Known as the Swiss Army Knife of bar codes, it contains fonts, HyperCard stacks, templates, and utilities for creating four different common bar code symbols.
